While serving the Kellogg Christian Church (from 1958 to 1963) it was our privilege to know Jerry and Hester. We remember the many church pot lucks and youth activities in which they participated. Hester brought many delicious dishes and would help clean-up afterwards. She helped with taking care of the children during church services (whenever Pearl was not available). She served her church and our Lord well.
About ten years (or so) ago, while I worked at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, IA), I was invited to Newton to speak abut the activities at the Home. Guess what? There was Hester Wyatt! It was a GREAT pleasure to renew our acquaintances from the past! We had a good time conversing with one another.
Gene, we want to say a SPECIAL THANKS, to you for the wonderful help you gave to us when we took a Carnival Cruise out of Miami – and found that we had NO CABIN ASSIGNMENT! You came to our rescue and we were able to enjoy the cruise INSIDE – rather than out on the deck!
All of the Wyatt family gave us many enjoyable memories of our association-ships, which we will never forget!
