Obituary of Wanda Jean Cleaver

Wanda Jean Cleaver, the daughter of Bee William and Dorothy Reata (Morris) Rouse, was born June 13, 1949, in Newton, Iowa.  She graduated from the Newton Senior High School with the class of 1968.

Wanda was united in marriage with Danny Lee Cleaver in 1975.  She devoted her life to her husband and daughter.  Wanda enjoyed her pets, quilting, crafting, feeding the birds and being outside.

Wanda died Sunday, May 10, 2020, at MercyOne in Newton, Iowa.  She was 70 years old.  Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Danny, on January 15, 2018.

Those left to honor Wanda’s memory include her daughter, Stephanie; her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gary and Nelda Cleaver, Cathy Anderson, Elaine Rouse and Violet Rouse; several nieces and nephews and several Warner and Rouse cousins.

A Facebook broadcast of Wanda’s service will be Saturday, May 16^th at 10:00 a.m. on the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home and Cremation Services Facebook page.  Memorials may be designated to Stephanie Cleaver and may be left at the funeral home.
