I will always remember trips to Dows and Newton to visit the aunts and uncles and cousins - and the twinkle that Donna had in her eye. Corky and I are thinking of you Uncle Bill and Kurt and Amber at this difficult time. We all now have yet another guardian angel. Our love to you all.

My Aunt Donna made the best rubarb pie. When She and Bill arrived at Mom's for Thanksgiving dinner there was a was always the question of how many rubarb pies she had brought along. If only one, we would sometimes sneak a piece out and "hide it" so later after dinner we were sure to have a slice. She would always get a laugh out of watching us "fight " over her pie.

I have very fond memories of getting to know Aunt Donna and the entire Barz family again during my farm stay of 1990. It was great fun visiting with you all during several RAGBRAI tours as well. I remember laughing at the crazy antics of the karaoke contestants with Donna on one of those hot Iowa summer days. I'll miss her and my thoughts and prayers are with you all right now.
